Tom Mitros grew up in Broomall and currently lives in Newtown Square with his wife and three children. He is a life long resident of the Delaware/Chester County area and is an active member in the community. Tom served as the Treasurer of the MN Football Alumni Board, was the President of the Media Rugby FC, and has coached different youth sport teams in the area. Tom graduated from Marple Newtown High School and then earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland in 2005.
After working as a Sales Engineer for two years, Tom decided to enter the insurance industry and founded Mitros Insurance in 2007 with help from his mom, Maria Monica.
Tom holds the professional designations of CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) & CRM (Certified Risk Manager), after completion of a rigorous insurance education program, provided by the National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research, the nations preeminent provider of insurance and risk management education.
